Rosie is a BAFTA-nominated director whose shorts have screened at festivals around the world. Her first short, CRUSH, premiered at BFI Flare in 2017 and was selected for British Council Five Films for Freedom. In 2019, she was nominated for 'Best Director' at Underwire Festival for the short film TREACLE.
Rosie’s short OUR SISTER was supported by BFI Network & the Tribeca Film Institute Pond5 programme, premiered at the BFI London Film Festival and won ‘Best British Short’ at the Leeds International Film Festival 2020.
In 2020, Rosie was named a Film London Lodestar, which honours the bright futures of innovative filmmakers from across the capital each year. She is an alum of the Torino Film Lab and Stowe Feature Labs. And in 2021, Rosie was nominated for a TV BAFTA for the BBC iPlayer short THE MAIN PART.
Rosie's first feature is being supported by BFI Networks' early development fund and The Film Independent Alfred P Sloan development grant. It was also selected as part of Film Independent Producers Lab 2023.
